Founders’ Scholarship
In Partnership with the Public Education Foundation (PEF)
Clark County School District (CCSD) High School seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA and who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary college or university, may apply for this scholarship; two $750 scholarships are available.
Preference will be given (but not required) to Hawaiian/part Hawaiian students and dependents of members of the Hawaiian Civic Club. To qualify, students must attend the college/university full-time by taking a minimum of twelve credit hours per semester.

Students must complete the PEF general application at the link above to make sure they meet the scholarship requirements before they apply for a specific scholarship. Once you submit the general applications, you will receive a list of the scholarships you can apply for. The scholarship should show up on your list of scholarships to apply.
Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required before a check is mailed from LVHCC to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses. These funds will be disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.
